Scout Sunday

What We Do: Scout Sunday is a nationwide event celebrating the contributions of young people and adult leaders to Scouting, as well as their involvement in their faith communities. Scouts will participate in a special services all over town, serving as greeters, ushers, and assisting in various parts of the service. This event highlights the Scout Oath's commitment to duty to God and reverence.
What to Wear: Full Class A uniform for all Scouts and leaders.
New to Scouting?: Scout Sunday is a great opportunity for families and friends to see Scouts in action, supporting their local community and reinforcing the connection between Scouting and their faith. If you don’t have a regular place of worship, you’re welcome to come to FUMC. Scouts should arrive early to help with service preparations. Families are encouraged to attend and celebrate this special occasion with the pack.
